The challenges of this project, in which we were employed by Thurrock council to develop landscape proposals for a 150-property residential development, were twofold: to provide as much space for play and amenity as possible; and to accommodate swales for sustainable urban drainage to ensure lower water consumption on the site – a new departure for the council. Combining the functional and recreational, within a consistent aesthetic, is something at which we specialise.
