London Shoreditch project – Galliard Homes

Galliard Homes’, London Shoreditch project is nearing completion. Galliard’s project manager is very happy with the way the roof gardens have shaped up; they will give a bit of a wow factor to the development. He says it looks better in reality than it did from the drawings, which we’ll happily take as a compliment. Certainly better that way around than the alternative! We worked closely with BUJ architects on the landscape design, our role as a landscape architect was to pull together the various elements into a comprehensive whole. Birch trees and low herbaceous planting complementing the soft yellow brick and pale grey steelwork. The louvred shutters can be opening or closed to provide variations in light and shelter from the wind. It has a lovely enclosed feeling. We’ll be popping back in the spring to get some nice photos of the planting…
