We have always aimed to provide a great work-life balance for our team, reduce our carbon footprint and do our bit for the local environment, so we are thrilled to be welcomed into the BCorp community.
As a practice, our focus is on technically challenging projects dealing with planning and construction, including residential developments, cemeteries, educational establishments, elderly care facilities and garden design. We work throughout the UK on both urban and rural schemes. We have expertise in arboriculture and ecological design, which we can bring to our projects to advise on the best ways to deal with the current planning requirements, such as biodiversity net gain and experience in detailing large and complex schemes for construction. We can offer a comprehensive service, managing projects from inception to completion.

CMLI - BSc(Hons) DipLA in Landscape Architecture and Ecology
Anna set up AFA in 2011 with a desire to provide excellent, client-focused services in landscape architecture. The practice has come a long way since then and we are now working on some exciting and challenging projects in London, Birmingham and around the UK. Anna studied at the University of Sheffield, which had an emphasis on ecological design which is proving ever more relevant in today’s world.
MSc Diploma in Landscape Engineering
Alexia trained at the Agrocampus Ouest, in Angers, France. She has been with AFA since 2018 and is an experienced and highly skilled landscape architect. Her Engineering training gives her excellent technical and problem-solving skills. She is currently heading up our largest and most complex projects and coordinating the work of the team to meet budget requirements and deadlines.
MSc in Landscape Architecture
Magda studied at Poznan University of Life Sciences, Poland. She is a talented and conscientious landscape architect who has worked on many schemes from concept design to completion on-site and also has experience in garden design and maintenance. Magda is currently working on a broad portfolio of projects in design and planning including some of our large London residential schemes.
MA in Landscape Management
Awika studied her Masters in Landscape Management at Sheffield University. In Thailand she worked as a fully qualified professional landscape architect on residential developments, resorts, private gardens and public parks. Her previous role included checking various designs, site analysis, detail development and construction drawings and controlling construction on-site and co-ordinating with customers needs and budgets. She is currently working on a range of projects for us including urban, mixed-use schemes and residential developments.
