  • We’re a landscape architecture and ecology practice headed up by Anna French BSc (Hons) DipLA CMLI and Alex Laurie BSc (Hons) MSc DipArb MIEEM, along with our dedicated team of landscape architects and environmental consultants.   • We can offer a comprehensive service, managing projects from inception to completion, or bring our expertise to bear on individual elements in the process: from shepherding schemes through the planning process, discharging planning conditions and detailing projects for construction, to providing habitat surveys, verified photomontage and BREEAM reports, we also have experience in BIM and co-ordinating landscape designs using Revit. Ecology and sustainability are at the heart of what we do and we place an emphasis on pragmatic – as well as beautiful – design (for full list of services click here).

  • We have worked on everything from small-scale residential projects to multi-million-pound commercial schemes. We’ve helped give intimate gardens and roof terraces that ‘wow’ factor, revitalised neglected parks and other public spaces for community use, and designed and actioned complex landscape schemes incorporating sustainable features such as recycled materials, SuDS schemes and new wildlife habitats. Recent projects include regenerating an urban park in Elephant & Castle, preparing a construction package for all external spaces at a high-end residential home in Battersea, and overseeing an £8million landscape scheme for a prestigious development in Greenwich (for full list of projects click here).

  • ANNA FRENCH

    BSc(Hons) DipLA CMLI  Director

    Anna is passionate about high quality landscape design in particular in the residential environment. She believes that good design will be successful in all three areas of aesthetics, people and wildlife. 

    Anna has a wide experience of designing and delivering developments large and small. Including private apartments, social housing schemes, school grounds and commercial developments. Since setting up in practice in 2011 she has developed relationships with developers and architects working as part of the project team to successfully deliver projects on time and to budget. Three projects we worked on recently winning RIBA Awards for the practice.

  • ALEX LAURIE

    BSc(Hons) MSc DipArb MIEEM  director

    Alex brings extensive ecological and arboricultural knowledge to the practice as well as having experience of trees and landscape in the planning system. Alex currently works as a Tree Officer for St Albans District Council providing landscape and arboricultural advice and assessing planning applications.

    As a director Alex provides his knowledge and expertise for the company, specialising in botany; urban ecology, trees and countryside management. He has a detailed knowledge of the planning process in relation to trees and landscape.

     

  • ALEXIA LECHAT

    MSc  Senior Landscape Architect

    Alexia has been with the company for three years, before that she  worked in garden and landscape design in the UK and Thailand. She is a very talented designer with an eye for detail and an artistic graphics skills. Having studied Landscape Engineering in France she also has excellent technical detailing skills and has experience of producing construction packages for large-scale residential and complicated high-end garden projects.

    Magda has a background working as a landscape architect in firms in Poland and in landscape design and maintenance in the UK. She is very talented in conceptual design and creating visuals using Sketchup and Photoshop.
